how it works
You pick out the item(s)you would like to use to create your original piece of art and send them to friends with a fish. The items are photographed and the pieces created.
At this point you will be emailed a number of images to chose from, you can then request more images, or pick the image(s) you would like. Your selections are then printed and mailed to you, along with the items you originally sent.

You will get a response to your request asap with details on where to send your items.
You
should also state in your email if you are looking for an abstact
piece, or would rather something more "quilt-like" in style. You may
referance a piece you have seen on the website. We work with you to make sure a piece is produced that reflects your personal style.

questions?
how long will it take?
From the time of receiving your items it should take around two weeks to a
month to send your print to you. You will be informed of a time frame when you place your order. If for some reason it seems like it
will take longer than that I will inform you immediately and you may
cancel your order at no cost.
what should i send?
Anything that was particularly special to you, or your child. Favorite items of clothing could include pajamas, dresses, bathing suits, even favorite toys.....you
know the item(s) that still makes you smile, or that your child could not give up!
if I don't like the images will it cost more to see more examples?
No. If you want to go in a different direction I am happy to re-shoot to get exactly what you want.
how and when do i pay?
Payment in full is required before work can start on any project.
Payment can be made via personal checks (funds must clear before artwork can be sent) or by credit card through paypal.
is there a discount if i order more than one print?
Yes, there is a 25% discount on orders of 2 or more prints. You may pick images from the items that you send in any one order. You can even order more prints from any one project and still get the discount up to one year after you made your first order.
can I change my mind after seeing the images?
Yes, if you decide not to go ahead at this point your items will be
returned free of shipping charges. Your payment minus a $50 fee will be returned.
why the $50.00 fee?
Even if you change your mind on purchasing a print a lot of work has already gone into the photographing and design of the images, this $50 helps offset the cost of that work.
how will you ship my photograph?
Photographs are sent to you via USPS, boxed so as they will not be damaged.
can my image be framed?
Yes, for the retail cost of framing, framed prints will also incur a shipping fee.
what is the quality of the final photograph?
All artwork is gallery quality, printed on high quality photo paper using archival inks to ensure your print is around for you and your children. We can also print on watercolor paper or canvas for an additional cost.
do you have gift certificates?
Yes. You may purchase a gift certificate for any size print. Just email gifts@friendswithafish
